Matej Fijačko is a student of textile and clothing design at the Department of Textiles, Graphics, and Design at Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana. His first experiences in fashion began through modeling. He has been published in various magazines such as Gloss, New Edge Magazine, and more. His most successful campaign was for H&M x Mugler in 2023.

In 2021, he enrolled in undergraduate studies at NTF, but he is more interested in fashion styling and visual storytelling than fashion design.

In 2023, he assisted stylist Andrej Skok in an editorial photoshoot for Hashtag Magazine (under the creative direction of Marijo Zupanov). That same year, he worked as the lead stylist for the first issue of Ventilator Magazine (under the creative direction of Rok Mar), styling the editorial "GET A LIFE". 
He has also styled musicians such as Koala Voice and later became the personal stylist of singer Zevin for her various music videos (EP "Egzistencija", 2024) and public performances (EXIT Festival, Radio Študent Afterparty, Zevinjada...).

In his design process, he primarily draws inspiration from the digital world, which has fascinated him since childhood. His latest fashion collection, "HYPER REALITY TEA PARTY", (mentored by Prof. Nataša Peršuh, 2024) is inspired by Vocaloid concerts, which take place in the form of holograms. The "HYPER REALITY TEA PARTY" collection, which was awarded the BIG SEE award in the category PERSPECTIVE - FASHION DESIGN 2024, was presented at the NTF Povezovanja fashion show in Rog, Ljubljana Fashion Week 2024 and later exhibited at Škuc Gallery and Mitnica Gallery.

He is currently working as a freelance fashion stylist, model and creative director. His most recent long-term ongoing project is styling and taking care of the visual identity of drag queen Trula Višnja.
